Will I be charged VAT and duties?

Updated 10 months ago by Kristin

Yes, you may be charged customs fees, or VAT and duties, on the import of your order.

Nomad cannot currently offer a DDP, or Delivered Duty Paid, international shipping option for orders that ship to countries outside the U.S. This means that, depending on the value of your order, the customs office in your country may require the payment of VAT and duties for the package to be delivered. As the purchaser of the order, you are considered to be the importer and consignee of the package and are therefore responsible for any VAT and duties that are applied by customs in your country.

Find out about your country's VAT and duties charges here.

Our team is currently working on a DDP solution for our awesome customers residing outside the U.S. that we hope to offer in the future.
