Will I be charged VAT & duties?

Updated 1 month ago by Kristin

Yes, you will most likely be charged VAT and duties when your order is imported into your country for delivery. The name of the shipping method chosen for your order at checkout will specify who is responsible for paying VAT and duties.

Most all orders that are shipping to an address that outside of the U.S. will have only one option for shipping, "International Priority (VAT and Duties Not Prepaid)". If this shipping method is applied to your order, then you are responsible for paying VAT, duties, and any other customs or services fees that might be applied to the import of your order.

For some orders, depending on the country of delivery, subtotal of the order, and total weight of the package, an additional shipping method, "International Priority (VAT and Duties Prepaid)" , may be offered at checkout. If this shipping method is applied to your order, then you are essentially prepaying the VAT and duties that might be applied to the import of your order. There will not be any additional VAT, duties, or customs/service fees applied charged to you when your order is imported to your country.
