The Lightning tip fell out of my cable! Now what?

Since we use Apple MFi certified Lightning tips (purchased directly from Apple) in our cables, Apple requires our Lightning cables to allow for a breaking point at the Lightning tip. So breaks in this area can happen if enough tension is applied at just the right angle. Basically, Apple would rather our cables break than the devices be damaged if there is too much tension on the cable. Every other Lightning cable that is MFi certified must follow the same requirements.

If the Lightning tip on your cable breaks off, please email with a picture of your cable for support.

How did we do?
