The Lightning tip fell out of my cable! Now what?
Since we use Apple MFi certified Lightning tips (purchased directly from Apple) in our cables, Apple requires our Lightning cables to allow for a breaking point at the Lightning tip. So breaks in this area can happen if enough tension is applied at just the right angle. We would rather our cables break than your phone be damaged if there is too much tension on the cable. We put a breaking point on the lightning connection ( just like every other MFI approved phone cable) so that the cable will come out of the phone before any damage is incurred.
