Technical & Charging
Snap the adapter onto your USB-C Cable and plug the tip into the Garmin connector. You can attach the connector to either end of your USB-C Cable, but the cable must be plugged into the connector so power flows through to the output. The connectors charge Garmin at 2W and supports data transfer with Garmin Express. When you’re done, just snap the adapter off and stow it away until you need them (pro tip: they're great to leave in your travel bag!).

- Is this a power source? No, Garmin Adapter is not a stand-alone power source. It must be connected to a USB-C Cable to provide power.You can attach Garmin Adapter to either end of your USB-C Cable. The cable tip plugs into the adapter, allowing power to flow through to your Garmin.
- Will this work with my Garmin? Garmin Adapter works with any Garmin that has a 4-pin oval connector, which is most Garmin watches. If you're unsure, email [email protected] and someone from our team will be happy to help.
- How do I take it on and off? The connector uses an intuitive snap-on, snap-off system. To attach it, place the connector over your cable and press down until you hear a click. To remove, simply lift or pop it off.
- Can I use these on any cable? You can snap it onto any Nomad USB-C Cable including USB-C Cable and Universal Cable for Apple Watch. You can also use them on any other USB-C cable with a diameter of up to 5.2mm.
Warranty
At Nomad, we offer a 2-year limited warranty on all our products. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues but does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse or abuse of the product
- Modifications made to the product
If your Nomad product is found to be defective, we’ll exchange it for a brand-new replacement. However, we cannot guarantee that the exact style or product will be in stock at the time of your claim. If a replacement isn’t available, we’ll provide a store credit instead. This store credit never expires and can be used toward any product on our website.
Nomad is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of our products. Additionally, our warranty does not cover the repair or replacement of electronic devices or other personal property.
As of January 2025, we updated our cable warranty period from 5 years to 2 years. If you own one of our older cables, don’t worry—we’ll still honor its original 5-year warranty. Not sure which warranty applies to your cable? Email us at [email protected], and our team will be happy to assist you.
