Leather Options
We work with two types of leather here at Nomad: Camino leather and Horween leather. Our Camino leather was developed by Nomad in collaboration with Danish tannery Ecco, utilizing modern tanning techniques that are adaptable, efficient, and innovative. It will still develop a patina over time but is slightly less susceptible to scratches and marks than our Horween leather.
Horween leather is handcrafted entirely in the U.S.A. using old-fashioned techniques. It smells richly of leather and will absorb marks, scratches, and oils into a lustrous patina that is totally unique to you. If you're looking for authentic, American-made leather, we would point you to Horween. Learn more about the differences between the two leathers here.

- Is this wallet RFID protected? No, our wallets are not RFID protected. We understand why RFID-blocking accessories are popular, but at Nomad, we believe they aren't essential for everyday use. If you're curious to learn more, this article from Finance Buzz offers a great overview.
- Will Card Wallet Plus scratch? Both of our leather options are naturally and minimally treated and will therefore easily scuff and mark within the first weeks days of use. With time, scuffs and marks will buff out into a rich and lustrous patina. If you’re after an authentic leather patina that evolves with time, this is absolutely the wallet for you.

Warranty
At Nomad, we offer a 2-year limited warranty on all our products. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues but doesn’t cover:
Normal wear and tear
Misuse or abuse of the product
Modifications made to the product
If your Nomad product is found to be defective, we’ll exchange it for a brand-new replacement. However, we cannot guarantee that the exact style or product will be in stock at the time of your claim. If a replacement isn’t available, we’ll provide a store credit instead. This store credit never expires and can be used toward any product on our website.
Nomad is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of our products. Additionally, our warranty does not cover the repair or replacement of electronic devices or other personal property.
