Technical & Charging
Snap the adapter onto your USB-C Cable and plug the USB-C tip into the Lightning connector. You can attach the connector to either end of your USB-C Cable, but the cable must be plugged into the connector so power flows through to the output. The connectors support up to 60W. When you’re done, just snap the adapter off and stow it away until you need them (pro tip: they're great to leave in your travel bag!).

- Is this a power source? No, this isn't a connector. They add Lightning tips to your USB-C cable.
- How do I take it on and off? The connector uses an intuitive snap-on, snap-off system. To attach it, place the connector over your cable and press down until you hear a click. To remove, simply lift or pop it off.
- Can I use these on any cable? You can snap it onto any Nomad USB-C Cable including USB-C Cable and Universal Cable for Apple Watch. You can also use it on any other USB-C cable with a diameter of up to 5.2mm.
Warranty
At Nomad, we offer a 2-year limited warranty on all our products. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues but does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse or abuse of the product
- Modifications made to the product
If your Nomad product is found to be defective, we’ll exchange it for a brand-new replacement. However, we cannot guarantee that the exact style or product will be in stock at the time of your claim. If a replacement isn’t available, we’ll provide a store credit instead. This store credit never expires and can be used toward any product on our website.
Nomad is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of our products. Additionally, our warranty does not cover the repair or replacement of electronic devices or other personal property.
As of January 2025, we updated our cable warranty period from 5 years to 2 years. If you own one of our older cables, don’t worry—we’ll still honor its original 5-year warranty. Not sure which warranty applies to your cable? Email us at [email protected], and our team will be happy to assist you.
