- What's the difference between Sport Case and Modern Case? There’s no difference. Sport Case was renamed Modern Case for iPhone 17, but it was just a name change!
- Can I use this case with another series iPhone, or any other devices? iPhone 17 and iPhone 18 cases are cross-compatible. Previous iPhone series are not. For example, Sport Case for iPhone 16 only works with iPhone 16 devices, and Sport Case for iPhone 15 only works with iPhone 15 devices.
- Will the backplate scratch or otherwise show wear? Sport Case’s PET backplate is scratch-resistant and built for everyday use, though signs of wear may appear with heavy use over time.
- Does Sport Case offer camera protection? While the case doesn’t cover the camera lens itself, it does feature a raised camera ring that keeps the lens elevated when your phone is lying flat. This helps prevent direct contact with surfaces and offers protection from everyday wear.
- How do I attach a lanyard? Place the Wrist Strap’s anchor in the recessed area of the case, then push the D-ring through the USB-C port hole. Insert your iPhone into place, then loop the Wrist Strap through the D-ring to finish. Want to use a different lanyard? Simply thread it through the D-ring, but note that you’ll still need the anchor attachment.
Warranty
At Nomad, we offer a 2-year limited warranty on all our products. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues but doesn’t cover:
Normal wear and tear
Misuse or abuse of the product
Modifications made to the product
If your Nomad product is found to be defective, we’ll exchange it for a brand-new replacement. However, we cannot guarantee that the exact style or product will be in stock at the time of your claim. If a replacement isn’t available, we’ll provide a store credit instead. This store credit never expires and can be used toward any product on our website.
Nomad is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of our products. Additionally, our warranty does not cover the repair or replacement of electronic devices or other personal property.

In accordance with the EU REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, certain Nomad products may contain substances listed on the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) at concentrations above 0.1% by weight.
For example, our iPhone cases use durable polycarbonate plastics, which are manufactured with UV-329 or Octrizole. UV-329 is classified as an SVHC on the REACH Candidate List.
The presence of these substances does not affect the safe use of our products under normal conditions. Consumers have the right to request additional information under Article 33 of REACH. Requests can be directed to [email protected].
