Troubleshooting

To reset the unit, unplug Stand One Max from the outlet, wait 3 seconds, then plug it back in. 

Note, Stand One Max requires a 40W power source or greater to charge devices. Since Stand One is a USB-C powered 3-in-1 device, it requires more power input than the standard Apple MagSafe Charger. Using a 40W adapter will ensure an optimal charging experience.

  • Can Stand One Max wirelessly charge MagSafe and Qi2 devices? Yes, Stand One Max has a designated AirPods charging dish that will charge any wireless charging-enabled headphones including AirPods and AirPods Pro. 
  • Can Stand One Max wirelessly charge my AirPods? Stand One Max has a 5W Qi charging dish that will charge any wireless charging-enabled headphones including AirPods and AirPods Pro.
  • Does Stand One Max work with any Nomad case? Yes, all our iPhone and AirPods cases are compatible with wireless charging. You shouldn't have any problem with third-party wireless charging-enabled cases. 
  • What about Apple Watch? Stand One Max is compatible with Apple Watch Ultra 1-3, Series 1-11, and SE 1-3. Fast charging is only available for Apple Watch Ultra 1-3, Series 7-11, and SE 3. 
  • Does Stand One Max support StandBy mode? Yes, just snap your iPhone horizontally to take advantage of StandBy mode. 
  • How much power does Stand One Max require? Stand One Max requires a 40W power adapter. Stand One Max doesn't come with a 40W power adapter, but you can use any adapter so long as it meets that wattage. You can shop our 40W Slim Power Adapter here. 
  • I'm noticing stains on the charging puck. What's causing this and how can I fix it? In some cases, darker leather can transfer onto the charging puck puck, leaving behind slight discoloration. This is normal and usually happens with extended use. You should be able to buff out the stains using a soft cloth or a Magic Eraser. To prevent this from happening in the future, we recommend using a lighter-colored leather case or switching to a plastic-based case.
  • What are the differences between Stand One Max 1st gen, 2nd gen, 3rd gen, and 4th gen? 
    • 1st gen: Features official 15W MagSafe charging, an elevated Apple Watch Fast Charger puck, and a Qi charging dish for AirPods.
    • 2nd gen: Same core features as 1st gen, but the Apple Watch puck is moved to the base. This allows iPhone to sit in landscape mode and use StandBy while charging.
    • 3rd gen: Replaces MagSafe with Qi2 charging for broader compatibility going forward. Still offers 15W charging, plus the Apple Watch Fast Charger and AirPods Qi charging dish.
    • 4th gen: Features a Qi2 25W charging puck for the fastest possible wireless Qi charging experience. Also features an Apple Watch Fast Charger and 5W Qi charging dish for AirPods and other wireless charging-enabled headphones.  

Warranty

At Nomad, we offer a 2-year limited warranty on all our products. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues but doesn’t cover: 

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Misuse or abuse of the product

  • Modifications made to the product

If your Nomad product is found to be defective, we’ll exchange it for a brand-new replacement. However, we cannot guarantee that the exact style or product will be in stock at the time of your claim. If a replacement isn’t available, we’ll provide a store credit instead. This store credit never expires and can be used toward any product on our website.

Nomad is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of our products. Additionally, our warranty does not cover the repair or replacement of electronic devices or other personal property.
