What's the difference between Made for MagSafe, MagSafe Compatible, and Qi2?Updated a month ago

The primary difference between our Made for MagSafe and MagSafe Compatible chargers is charging speed. Our Made for MagSafe chargers feature official MFi charging technology for fast charging up to 15W while our MagSafe Compatible chargers offer a standard 7.5W charge and are ideal for longer workday or overnight charges. Other than that, they can both charge any MagSafe-enabled device and they look and feel almost identical.

Qi2 is our latest charging technology. It charges any Qi2 device at up to 15W including iPhone 13, 14, and 15 with iOS 17.2 as well as any iPhone 16. Our Qi2 chargers are almost identical to MagSafe but it's important to note that Qi2 is poised to offer broader accessibility across different smartphone brands in the future. Android, Samsung, and other manufacturers are planning to make their devices Qi2 enabled, which would mean you could charge your non-Apple devices on magnetic chargers. Learn more about Qi2 in this blog post.
