Made for MagSafe vs MagSafe Compatible
Here at Nomad, we're proud to offer two types of MagSafe chargers - Made for MagSafe and MagSafe Compatible. Both offer fast and reliable magnetic charging from thoughtfully designed, high-quality bodies.
The primary difference between the two is charging speed. Our Made for MagSafe chargers are built with official Apple MFi technology for fast charging up to 15W. On the other hand, our MagSafe Compatible chargers offer a steady and reliable 7.5W charge - perfect for longer overnight or workday charging.

Charging Tips
Base features magnetic wireless charging technology that charges iPhone 12 and beyond at up to 7.5W and Google and Android devices at up to 15W. To begin charging, simply snap your device into place on the charger.
Base works with iPhone 8 and beyond and any Qi-enabled wireless charging device, but magnetic alignment is only available for iPhone 12 and beyond.
Note, Base does not include a 20W USB-C power adapter. Not including an adapter in Base's packaging saves on environmental waste, keeps packaging sizes smaller, and lowers our carbon footprint. Learn more about our environmental efforts here.
Troubleshooting
To reset the unit, unplug Base from the outlet, wait 3 seconds, then plug it back in.
If you continue to experience issues with your Base, please reach out to our Support Team at [email protected]. We prefer to help you solve technical issues over email as opposed to phone so we can request photos and videos and send you step-by-step troubleshooting instructions you can then look back on if needed.
Warranty
At Nomad, we offer a 2-year limited warranty on all our products. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues but doesn’t cover:
Normal wear and tear
Misuse or abuse of the product
Modifications made to the product
If your Nomad product is found to be defective, we’ll exchange it for a brand-new replacement. However, we cannot guarantee that the exact style or product will be in stock at the time of your claim. If a replacement isn’t available, we’ll provide a store credit instead. This store credit never expires and can be used toward any product on our website.
Nomad is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of our products. Additionally, our warranty does not cover the repair or replacement of electronic devices or other personal property.
