Charging Tips

Thanks to Aria's FreePower® technology, you can place your devices anywhere on Base Station Pro's charging pad to begin charging. A closer look at Aria's FreePower® wireless charging coils

LED Indicator Guide

LED light is on and is a solid colorYour device is recognized and charging
LED light is on and is blinkingYour device is not recognized by the charger and should be removed

When your device is fully charged, the LED may turn off after a while to save energy. LEDs remain off when there are no devices charging.

Firmware Update

A few months after releasing Base Station Pro, Apple introduced MagSafe magnets to iPhone 12 series devices. Unfortunately, the magnets used in MagSafe interfered with Aria's newly developed FreePower® technology. While Aria initially thought they could update the firmware, they eventually discovered that no firmware update could resolve charging slowness and inconsistency so they moved on to focus on new projects.

PLEASE NOTE: There are no further firmware updates available for Base Station Pro and we're currently in the process of phasing out this product.

If you notice that your Base Station Pro has stopped charging devices, is intermittently charging, or the LEDs are continuously blinking orange or white, reset the unit by unplugging the charger from its power source, waiting 3 seconds, then plugging it back in.

Note, Base Station Pro's LEDs may start blinking when a device that is not wireless charging enabled is placed on the charging pad. This doesn't indicate a defect but rather that your device is not recognized as Qi-enabled.

If you continue to experience issues with your Base Station, please reach out to our Support Team at [email protected]. We prefer to help you solve technical issues over email as opposed to phone so we can request photos and videos and send you step-by-step troubleshooting instructions you can then look back on if needed.

Nomad offers a 2-year limited warranty for all Nomad products with the exception of our cables, for which we offer a 5-year limited warranty. Both warranties cover any manufacturing or workmanship defects but do not cover damages that may have resulted from normal wear and tear, misuse/abuse, or modification of the product. If your Nomad product is defective, we will help you to exchange it for a brand-new replacement. We cannot guarantee that the exact style or product will be in stock at the time that your warranty claim is processed, but we wouldn't want you to be left empty-handed! In this case, we will offer store credit rather than a replacement. The store credit never expires and will be valid for any product on our website. For more information on our warranty policy, please visit our Warranty page.

Note, Nomad will not be liable for any damages that may result from the use of any Nomad product. Our warranty does not cover the repair or replacement of property such as electronic devices and/or other personal property.
