Charging Tips
Thanks to Aria's FreePower® technology, you can place your devices anywhere on Base Station Pro's charging pad to begin charging. A closer look at Aria's FreePower® wireless charging coils
LED Indicator Guide
LED light is on and is a solid color | Your device is recognized and charging |
LED light is on and is blinking | Your device is not recognized by the charger and should be removed |
When your device is fully charged, the LED may turn off after a while to save energy. LEDs remain off when there are no devices charging.
Firmware Update
A few months after releasing Base Station Pro, Apple introduced MagSafe magnets to iPhone 12 series devices. Unfortunately, the magnets used in MagSafe interfered with Aria's newly developed FreePower® technology. While Aria initially thought they could update the firmware, they eventually discovered that no firmware update could resolve charging slowness and inconsistency so they moved on to focus on new projects.
PLEASE NOTE: We no longer support firmware updates for Base Station Pro, including the latest firmware (V1.2.0) released in May 2021. There are no additional firmware updates planned for this product and we're in the process of phasing the charger out entirely.
Troubleshooting
If you notice that your Base Station Pro has stopped charging devices, is intermittently charging, or the LEDs are continuously blinking orange or white, reset the unit by unplugging the charger from its power source, waiting 3 seconds, then plugging it back in.
Note, Base Station Pro's LEDs may start blinking when a device that is not wireless charging enabled is placed on the charging pad. This doesn't indicate a defect but rather that your device is not recognized as Qi-enabled.
If you continue to experience issues with your Base Station, please reach out to our Support Team at [email protected]. We prefer to help you solve technical issues over email as opposed to phone so we can request photos and videos and send you step-by-step troubleshooting instructions you can then look back on if needed.
