- How does this compare to the Sport Case that was available for older models? Modern Case has the same design and features as Sport Case for iPhone 16 and earlier. Starting with iPhone 17, we changed the name from Sport Case to Modern Case to better fit our case groupings. Questions, concerns? - Can I use this case with another series iPhone, or any other devices? Our cases aren't cross-compatible—Modern Case for iPhone 17 will only work with iPhone 17 devices, Modern Case for iPhone 16 will only work with iPhone 16 devices, and so on.
- Will the backplate scratch or otherwise show wear? Modern Case’s PET backplate is scratch-resistant and built for everyday use, though signs of wear may appear with heavy use over time.
- Does Modern Case offer camera protection? While the case doesn’t cover the camera lens itself, it does feature a raised camera ring that keeps the lens elevated when your phone is lying flat. This helps prevent direct contact with surfaces and offers protection from everyday wear.
- How do I attach a lanyard? Place the Wrist Strap’s anchor in the recessed area of the case, then push the D-ring through the USB-C port hole. Insert your iPhone into place, then loop the Wrist Strap through the D-ring to finish. Want to use a different lanyard? Simply thread it through the D-ring, but note that you’ll still need the anchor attachment.
Warranty
At Nomad, we offer a 2-year limited warranty on all our products. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues but doesn’t cover:
Normal wear and tear
Misuse or abuse of the product
Modifications made to the product
If your Nomad product is found to be defective, we’ll exchange it for a brand-new replacement. However, we cannot guarantee that the exact style or product will be in stock at the time of your claim. If a replacement isn’t available, we’ll provide a store credit instead. This store credit never expires and can be used toward any product on our website.
Nomad is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of our products. Additionally, our warranty does not cover the repair or replacement of electronic devices or other personal property.
