*If you have an iPhone 16 Pro or Pro Max, your Folio's interior lining will be leather. If you have an iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Plus, your Folio will have a soft microfiber lining.

Leather Options
For iPhone 13 and beyond, we are proud to offer two leather options.
Our standard leather was developed by Nomad in collaboration with Danish tannery Ecco, utilizing modern tanning techniques that are adaptable, efficient, and innovative. It will still develop a patina over time but it's slightly less susceptible to scratches and marks than our Horween leather.
Horween leather is handcrafted entirely in the U.S.A. using old-fashioned techniques. It smells richly of leather and will absorb marks, scratches, and oils into a lustrous patina that is totally unique to you. If you're looking for authentic, American-made leather, we would point you to Horween.
Note, Modern Leather Case for iPhone 12 and earlier is only available in Horween leather.

- When frequently using Modern Leather Folio with MagSafe chargers and accessories, you may notice a ring appear on your MagSafe puck. This is completely normal and its appearance can be reduced with a leather conditioner.

- Will Modern Leather Folio scratch? Both of our leather options are naturally and minimally treated and will therefore easily scuff and mark within the first weeks days of use. With time, scuffs and marks will buff out into a rich and lustrous patina. If you’re after an authentic leather patina that evolves with time, this is absolutely the case for you.
- Will Modern Leather Folio leave marks on my MagSafe chargers and accessories? If you frequently use Modern Leather Folio on MagSafe chargers and accessories, you may notice a subtle ring appear on your MagSafe puck. This is completely normal and can be wiped away with a damp rag.
- How do I care for my case's leather? Watch our instructional video on caring for your leather here.
- Where can I attach a lanyard to Modern Leather Case? There are two lanyard attachment points built into the reinforced speaker ports on the bottom edge of Modern Leather Case. Shop our Wrist Strap here.
- I'm buying a Modern Leather Folio for my iPhone 14, 15, or 16 and I want to take advantage of the magnetic clasp. How do I attach it? Watch our instructional video on attaching your magnetic clasp here.
- When I close my Modern Leather Folio, will it lock my iPhone screen? No, Modern Leather Folio does not have any automatic locking function. You'll have to manually lock your iPhone, then close your Modern Leather Folio.
How many cards can I store in each slot? We recommend storing up to 3 cards per slot. Whatever number of cards you choose, be sure to keep it consistent to prevent the leather from stretching out!
Warranty
Nomad offers a 2-year limited warranty for all Nomad products with the exception of our cables, for which we offer a 5-year limited warranty. Both warranties cover any manufacturing or workmanship defects but do not cover damages that may have resulted from normal wear and tear, misuse/abuse, or modification of the product. If your Nomad product is defective, we will help you to exchange it for a brand-new replacement. We cannot guarantee that the exact style or product will be in stock at the time that your warranty claim is processed, but we wouldn't want you to be left empty-handed! In this case, we will offer store credit rather than a replacement. The store credit never expires and will be valid for any product on our website.
