For Apple Watch Series 4 and 5, Apple increased the size of the display of both the larger and smaller watch sizes from 42mm and 38mm, respectively, to 44mm and 40mm. Additionally, for Apple Watch Series 7 and beyond, Apple increased the size of the display of both the larger and smaller watch sizes from 44mm and 40mm, respectively, to 45mm and 41mm. For Apple Watch Series 10, Apple increased the size display of both the larger and smaller watch sizes from 45mm and 41mm, respectively, to 46mm and 42mm. Apple Watch Ultra and Ultra 2 both have 49mm displays.

Although the overall display of the newer Apple Watches is larger, the area where the band attaches to the watch remains the same as the previous series for consistency in band compatibility. The sizes on our website now show '46mm/49mm' (which fit a 49mm, 46mm, 45mm, 44mm, or 42mm Apple Watch) and '41mm/42mm' (which fit a 42mm, 41mm, 40mm, or 38mm Apple Watch).

Adjustment & Installation Tips

To resize your Titanium Band, follow the steps outlined in this video or in our Metal Band Guide.

Attempting to install your Nomad band on Apple Watch Ultra or Ultra 2? Be sure to press down on the center lug latch as you slowly slide the band into the watch channel. Check out this installation video.

Following these steps will ensure Ultra's sharp edges don't damage your band's lug latches. Note, even if the lug latch is slightly scratched from your first installation attempt, it should still lock securely into your Apple Watch.

If you're having trouble getting the fit of your band exactly right, we have half-sized links we can send you. Just email [email protected] with your band details and updated shipping address and someone from our team will help you out.

Cleaning Tips

To clean your Metal Band, simply wipe it with a damp cloth. For tougher stains, gently buff them with a Magic Eraser.

To extend the life of your band, keep it completely dry—especially after any saltwater exposure. Rinse with fresh water, then air dry to help maintain the buckle’s performance. While the band is water-resistant, moisture or debris buildup may still impact the buckle over time.

More questions? Check out these FAQs.

  • Is Titanium Band waterproof? While we use water-resistant materials for our links and lugs, we do not recommend submerging your Titanium Band in water for extended periods. Doing so may degrade the strength of the magnetic clasp over time. If you do expose your Titanium Band to water, we recommend rinsing it off with fresh water and allowing it to fully dry out in a warm, sunny area.
  • How strong is Titanium Band's DLC coating? Titanium Band's DLC coating is extremely durable but it's slightly softer than most metal laptops so it may start to show scratches with frequent typing. We recommend removing your band before typing on a metal laptop to protect your band and laptop.
