Our standard leather was developed by Nomad in collaboration with Danish tannery Ecco, utilizing modern tanning techniques that are adaptable, efficient, and innovative. It will still develop a patina over time but is slightly less susceptible to scratches and marks than our Horween leather.

Horween leather is handcrafted entirely in the U.S.A. using old-fashioned techniques. It smells richly of leather and will absorb marks, scratches, and oils into a lustrous patina that is totally unique to you. If you're looking for authentic, American-made leather, we would point you to Horween.

Note, Traditional Case for iPhone 15 is only available in Ecco leather. It is not available in Horween leather. Traditional Case for iPhone 16 is available in both Ecco and Horween leather.

• Will Traditional Case scratch? Both of our leather options are naturally and minimally treated and will therefore easily scuff and mark within the first weeks of use. With time, scuffs and marks will buff out into a rich and lustrous patina. If you’re after an authentic leather patina that evolves with time, this is absolutely the case for you.
• Will Traditional Case leave marks on my MagSafe chargers and accessories? If you frequently use Modern Leather Case on MagSafe chargers and accessories, you may notice a subtle ring appear on your MagSafe puck. This is completely normal and can be wiped away with a damp rag and leather conditioner.
• How do I care for my case's leather? Watch our instructional video on caring for your leather here. 
• Does Traditional Case offer drop protection? While Traditional Case may protect your iPhone against drops, it's fully wrapped in leather so the leather itself may scratch or tear with drops. 
• Where can I attach a lanyard to Traditional Case? There are two lanyard attachment points built into the reinforced speaker ports on the bottom edge of Traditional Case. Shop our Wrist Strap here. 
• Is Traditional Case only available for iPhone 16? Will it ever be available for other models? Traditional Case is available for iPhone 15 Pro as well as iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max. We don't currently have plans to make it available for earlier iPhone series. 

Warranty

At Nomad, we offer a 2-year limited warranty on all our products. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues but doesn’t cover: 

• Normal wear and tear

• Misuse or abuse of the product

• Modifications made to the product

If your Nomad product is found to be defective, we’ll exchange it for a brand-new replacement. However, we cannot guarantee that the exact style or product will be in stock at the time of your claim. If a replacement isn’t available, we’ll provide a store credit instead. This store credit never expires and can be used toward any product on our website.

Nomad is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of our products. Additionally, our warranty does not cover the repair or replacement of electronic devices or other personal property.
