Leather Options

We are proud to offer Wallets with Find My Tracking in two leather options.

Our standard leather was developed by Nomad in collaboration with Danish tannery, Ecco, utilizing modern tanning techniques that are adaptable, efficient, and innovative. It looks and smells like authentic leather and will still develop a patina, though it is slightly less susceptible to scratches and marks than our Horween leather.

Horween leather is hand-crafted entirely in the U.S.A. using old-fashioned techniques. It smells richly of authentic leather and will absorb marks, scratches, and oils into a lustrous patina that is totally unique to you. If you're looking for genuine, American-made leather, we would point you to Horween.

Setting up Tracking Card

To connect Tracking Card to the Find My app, follow the steps below. 

  1. Press and release the Find My button to turn on Tracking Card. 
  2. Open the Find My app on your Apple device, tap the "+" and select "Add Other Item" from the menu. 
  3. Tracking Card will appear on the screen. Tap to connect and set a custom name and icon for your card. 
  4. When tracking your card, it will emit a sound at approximately 94.4dB. The volume of this sound may vary depending on how far away you are from your wallet and what other items are inside it. Please note, the volume of the sound cannot be turned up or down from either the Tracking Card or the Find My app.

  • Will the leather scratch? Both of our leather options are naturally and minimally treated and will therefore easily scuff and mark within the first weeks days of use. With time, scuffs and marks will buff out into a rich and lustrous patina. If you’re after an authentic leather patina that evolves with time, this is absolutely the wallet for you.
  • How do I care for my wallet's leather? Watch our instructional video on caring for your leather here. 
  • Can I remove Tracking Card from my wallet? Absolutely. Tracking Card is fully removable, so you can easily take it out to charge and put it back whenever you want.
  • How do I charge Tracking Card? How do I know when it's fully charged? To charge Tracking Card, remove it from your wallet and place it on any Qi or MagSafe charger. The small circular light on the top right corner will turn green once the card is fully charged. To check your Tracking Card’s percentage, navigate to the device in your Find My app. For more information on Tracking Card, check out its product guide here
  • Do I have to keep Tracking Card in a specific pocket of my wallet? Your Wallet with Find My Tracking will arrive with the Tracking Card tucked into one of the pockets, but you can place it anywhere in your wallet. It works the same no matter which side is facing out.

Warranty

Nomad offers a 2-year limited warranty for all Nomad products with the exception of our cables, for which we offer a 5-year limited warranty. Both warranties cover any manufacturing or workmanship defects but do not cover damages that may have resulted from normal wear and tear, misuse/abuse, or modification of the product. If your Nomad product is defective, we will help you to exchange it for a brand-new replacement. We cannot guarantee that the exact style or product will be in stock at the time that your warranty claim is processed, but we wouldn't want you to be left empty-handed! In this case, we will offer store credit rather than a replacement. The store credit never expires and will be valid for any product on our website. Note, Nomad will not be liable for any damages that may result from the use of any Nomad product. Our warranty does not cover the repair or replacement of property such as electronic devices and/or other personal property.
