Charging Tips

Stand One Max (2nd gen) features an official MFi MagSafe Charger. To begin charging, simply center your device on the puck and allow it to snap into the optimal charging position. Due to its angled surface, Stand One Max (1st gen) is only compatible with MagSafe devices (iPhone 12 and beyond). 

Stand One Max (2nd gen) supports StandBy mode even when your Apple Watch is charging. 

Troubleshooting

To reset the unit, unplug Stand One Max from the outlet, wait 3 seconds, then plug it back in. 

Note, Stand One Max requires a 30W power source or greater to charge devices. Since Stand One Max is a USB-C powered device, it requires more power input than the standard Apple MagSafe Charger. Using a 20W adapter will ensure an optimal charging experience.

  • What are the differences between Stand One Max 1st gen, 2nd gen, and 3rd gen? 
    • 1st gen: Features official 15W MagSafe charging, an elevated Apple Watch Fast Charger puck, and a Qi charging dish for AirPods.
    • 2nd gen: Same core features as 1st gen, but the Apple Watch puck is moved to the base. This allows iPhone to sit in landscape mode and use StandBy while charging.
    • 3rd gen: Replaces MagSafe with Qi2 charging for broader compatibility going forward. Still offers 15W charging, plus the Apple Watch Fast Charger and AirPods Qi charging dish.

Warranty

At Nomad, we offer a 2-year limited warranty on all our products. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues but doesn’t cover: 

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Misuse or abuse of the product

  • Modifications made to the product

If your Nomad product is found to be defective, we’ll exchange it for a brand-new replacement. However, we cannot guarantee that the exact style or product will be in stock at the time of your claim. If a replacement isn’t available, we’ll provide a store credit instead. This store credit never expires and can be used toward any product on our website.

Nomad is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of our products. Additionally, our warranty does not cover the repair or replacement of electronic devices or other personal property.
